December is here and with that brings parties, celebrations, libations, colds, lots of shopping, hot coffee and all things that can also make our pelvic floor symptoms worse. It's also a time of year we, as women, forget about ourselves. If you happen to notice an increase in urinary leaking with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or even urgency (there's help). If you notice an increase in fecal incontinence (there's help). If you notice your prolapse or back/pelvic pain is worse (there's help). Or if starting a family and those reminders are everywhere (there's fertility help too). If this is a terrible time of year to start pelvic floor therapy, I get it, we can schedule out to start in January and start the new year off right!!
