Self Care & Pelvic Health

Pelvic Health can be considered a form of self care as it is an opportunity to make yourself a priority and investing in your overall wellness and wellbeing. While treating pelvic floor dysfunction, the focus is on you as an individual and your special qualities and taking all things into consideration. Often times, my patients will tell me, "I feel heard and validated with my symptoms." With this in mind, the focus is on creating an experience and space that meets your needs to truly improve not just your pelvic floor dysfunction but allowing you to become the best version of you possible!
A goal I like to encourage everyone to do, is to find something you enjoy, and do it with intention daily. That can be reading, walking, exercise, yoga, journaling, 20 minutes in the sun, gardening, sewing, knitting, etc. Comment how you self care!
