Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Awareness

August is pelvic floor dysfunction awareness month. Bringing awareness allows more women to get the help to improve dysfunction and set up for healthy aging!

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and tissues that support the bladder, rectum, and reproductive organs. When these muscles don't work properly, it can lead to issues like incontinence, pelvic pain, and organ prolapse. Maintaining a healthy weight, staying hydrated, and eating fiber are 3 ways to maintain a healthy pelvic floor and prevent pelvic floor dysfunction.

Make pelvic health and priority and improve your muscle function to reduce dysfunction.
